John Elliot, a researcher at the Scottish University of St. Andrews, decided to unite around himself scientists, amateur ufologists, lawyers, journalists and representatives of other professions to create an up-to-date protocol. The Post-Detection Hub will focus on scanning signals and looking for potential extraterrestrial messages, as well as combating misinformation on the subject. The document will prescribe how to respond to alien signals and interact with them in case of contact.
