Four-legged robot goalkeeper.

Engineers have trained a four-legged Mini Cheetah robot to act as a football goalkeeper, analyzing the ball's flight path and jumping to intercept it. Robochepard weighing nine kilograms completes the movement in just 0.9 seconds. He is trained in three movements: shift to the side, jump and dive - jump to the side, followed by a fall to intercept the ball flying into the bottom corner. When a ball is thrown, the robot determines its position using a depth camera, and then selects the desired movement and its trajectory. After that, the low-level controller calculates the torques so that the interception is successful.
