The muscles of the robotic arm are made as mesh tubes, inside of which there are balls with air. An external pneumatic or hydraulic pump fills these balls, they expand, and as a result, the muscles contract in the longitudinal direction. The basis of the robotic arm is made up of artificial "bones" on articulated joints, which provide a range of motion that is as close as possible to a human one. The company now plans to create a torso with a rigid spine that will include 124 muscles in the neck, shoulders, arms, chest, and upper back.
