Astronomers have found traces of the earliest stars in the universe.

An international team of scientists from Japan, the US and Australia have discovered the remains of the earliest stars in the universe. They formed only hundreds of millions of years after the Big Bang. They themselves have been gone for a long time, but traces from their explosions indirectly confirm that modern models of the evolution of the Universe are correct.
