US paleontologists have completed a study of a marine dinosaur skeleton that had a crocodile face and a snake neck. It was singled out as a separate species - Serpentissuchops pfisterae, which literally means "a creature with a snake-crocodile face." The remains of this dinosaur were found in Wyoming back in 1995, but until recently they were not given due attention. Scientific work with a detailed analysis of the fossils has only now appeared.
