Why do women prefer sex in the dark?

Women want to enhance sensations. Some women have no problem seeing themselves and their partner during sex, but sometimes they want to turn off the lights. Not out of shame, but out of a desire to intensify sensations. Without visual stimuli, other senses are heightened. Therefore, a woman can better smell and taste her sexual partner.
