Modular robot Yarbo mows grass, removes snow and blows leaves.

All three modules are equipped with a millimeter-wave radar and a camera that allow the robot to detect and avoid obstacles. Yarbo navigates within a predetermined working area using GPS. It reportedly independently determines which path to follow in order to cover the area most effectively. The battery recharges wirelessly and operates in temperatures down to -30º C. One 2-hour charge is claimed to last for 2 hours of mowing, 90 minutes of snow removal or 50 minutes of leaf removal. On Kickstarter, the Yarbo has a starting price of $2,599 for the mower-module variant (estimated retail price of $4,399). For the model with all three modules - $3,699 (retail price $6,999). Deliveries should begin in December this year.
