Intel and Broadcom have shown Wi-Fi 7 with data transfer rates in excess of 5 Gb/s.

In the experiment, company employees used a Dell laptop and a Broadcom access point equipped with Wi-Fi 7 chips that use wider 320 MHz channels in the unlicensed 6 GHz spectrum. An Intel representative noted that this is not the maximum speed of Wi-Fi 7, and theoretically it can be increased.
