Astronomers have said something strange is happening to the Sun.

An increasing number of sunspots are showing unusual activity. At the beginning of the week, a massive sunspot AR3085 was discovered on the Sun, directed towards the Earth, which increased 10 times in two days. Today, scientists are baffled by another spot - AR3088 - instead of horizontal magnetic fields, it has vertical, rotated 90 degrees.
