On Everest, traces of the DNA of a domestic chicken and dog were found at an altitude of 5 thousand meters.

Scientists have been routinely testing the diversity of the biosphere at this altitude. Samples were taken from the ponds and streams of Everest, revealing 187 unique signatures. Quite suddenly, among them were a chicken and a dog. What they did at such a height and how they ended up is a mystery.
