Transgender children 9-10 years old are three times more likely than other peers to suffer from depression and behavioral problems, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. They also have a six times higher risk of suicide. These conclusions were made by scientists from the University of Melbourne. They analyzed data from 7,000 little Americans, 58 of whom identified themselves as transgender.
