Tigers in the wild turned out to be almost one and a half times more than they thought.

July 23, 2022

The International Union for Conservation of Nature found that there are 5,578 tigers living in the wild today - 40% more than a 2015 study showed. The new number is significantly different from the previous one because animal rights activists have improved the quality of monitoring. All these years, the tiger population has been stable or increasing. Despite this, the species is still considered endangered.
