Soil samples from Mars will still be delivered to Earth.

Some scientists have raised the question of the danger of shipping Martian samples due to the possible presence of some deadly alien viruses. Thankfully, NASA has said it will not cancel the program and will instead put more effort into isolating the samples and keeping them safe on Earth.
