A transgender woman is getting a womb transplant

For the first time in history, a transgender woman will receive a womb transplant so that she can give birth to a child. New Delhi-based surgeon Dr. Narendra Kaushik hopes to transplant organs from a deceased donor into a woman. If the operation is successful, it will be the first time in history that a former man has been able to get pregnant.
