Tesla electric cars to monitor driver drowsiness
Tesla electric cars will now monitor driver drowsiness. After a firmware update, Teslas will check for driver drowsiness - the installed camera inside the car allows tracking the number of yawns and blinks, as well as the direction of the driver's gaze. If, according to the system, the driver is falling asleep, the electric car will issue audible warnings. What will happen if the person still doesn't react is unknown, but it is likely that the vehicle will pull over to the side of the road and smoothly stop, activating the hazard lights.
