Bohemian Rhapsody Draft Sells for $1.7 Million at Auction
The draft of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody has been sold for $1.7 million at auction. More than 15 pages of the original version of the song, signed by the musician, were auctioned off. Thanks to them, it became known that the composition was originally called Mongolian Rhapsody. The auction also sold drafts of other songs. For example, the hit We Are The Champions was valued at £317,000. Participants in the auction acquired Mercury's items: costumes, crown, cape, telephone, and piano.
