Tiger Quoll, Thought Extinct for Over a Century, Rediscovered in Australia
A tiger quoll, believed to be extinct for 130 years, has been caught in Australia. There have been no records of this predatory marsupial since 1880, but it was recently trapped by a farmer. For several weeks, the quoll had been stealing the farmer's chicks, but this species typically preys on larger animals, even kangaroos.
