Super-rich people are dumber than less successful people, Swedish scientists have found.
It turned out that a close relationship between the level of intelligence and wages exists only up to a certain threshold. This is 60,000 euros per year. Then it becomes insignificant. As a result, approximately 1% of people receive super-high income, regardless of their cognitive abilities. That is, their success may be due to something other than intelligence. Also, the researchers did not find a connection between cognitive abilities and an alternative measure of career success - professional prestige in various specialties. Among them, accounting, medicine, law, science, public administration.
